Testovox Testosterone Booster Review

Testovox is a testoterone booster and muscle-building support supplement offered by Vivid Health Nutrition.

The manufacturer claims that Testovox offers an all-round health formula for men. They also say that Testovox is aimed at both amateurs and professionals.

It’s for anyone who wants to get more ripped, in other words.

Vivid Health Nutrition claim that Testovox will help you:

  • Boost your testosterone levels
  • Pack on lean, ripped muscle
  • Increase your strength and reduce body fat
  • Accelerate your muscle recovery
  • Enhance nutrient absorption
  • Boost your energy and metabolism
  • Look and feel healthier and more confident

Sounds good, but let’s see if their boasts hold up, shall we?

Pros and Cons

This is the section where we tell you what’s good and what’s bad about Testovox.

As indicated above, Testovox is designed to be an all-round supplement for gym users of all fitness levels.

So without further ado, here are the pros and cons:

Pros

  • Contains Vitamins B6 and B12
  • Contains Boron
  • Doesn’t use stimulants
  • Includes muscle-building and fat-burning ingredients
  • Contains energy-boosting ingredients
  • Includes Zinc and Fenugreek.

Cons

  • It’s missing some important testosterone boosting ingredients
  • It contains a proprietary blend which makes it difficult to know the doses of ingredients
  • Fenugreek forfeits DHT to increase overall testosterone
  • It includes some ineffective ingredients

Ingredients

Testovox contains some proprietary ingredients, as previously mentioned. This is not great if you want to know how much of each component you’re taking. However, it does contain some solid ingredients as well. We’ll cover these below.

Here’s a list of the active ingredients in Testovox, together with explanations of what they do for you:

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 helps your testosterone production. It also bolsters your immune system strength. And it assists optimum connectivity between your brain cells.

It also increases your resilience to toxins and stress.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is important in the synthesis of your red blood cells. Deficiency in vitamin B12 can cause anaemia.

Vitamin B12 can’t be stored in your body so you need to take it as a supplement. You should take it as part of a vitamin B complex. This optimises your body’s absorption of it.

Zinc

Zinc is important in a testosterone booster. You use zinc in your brain’s chemical reactions. These reactions help your brain to make Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which is the precursor to testosterone and growth hormone.

The more Luteinizing Hormone you have in your body, the more your testosterone levels are likely to increase.

You need at least 10mg of zinc in a testosterone booster. Testovox contains 25mg per serving, though, which is probably too much.

At this concentration, zinc may give you diahorrea and stomach pains.

Chromium

Chromium helps to balance your sugar levels after you eat a meal.

This helps with your performance and health as it takes away that lethargic post-lunch feeling. It’s really a supporting ingredient in Testovox.

Sodium

Sodium seems to be fairly superfluous in this supplement as it doesn’t do much to increase your testosterone.

You may also, like many people, have too much sodium in your diet anyway. So we can’t see why they included it in Testovox.

Hardcore Testosterone Amplifying Muscle Growth Complex

This is a very grandiose sounding proprietary blend. It’s a mixture of ingredients where the amounts of each are not specified.

It contains:

  • Tribulus Terrestris. This improves your body’s natural testosterone production
  • Fenugreek. This creates the right hormonal environment for testosterone production
  • Shilajit Extract. This is said to increase strength and improve the immune system
  • Cha de Bugre. This is used as an appetite suppressant and to increase energy
  • Boron. Helps to increase your testosterone levels by decreasing your levels of oestradiol, which is a form of oestrogen.
  • Black Pepper. This helps your body absorb the ingredients in supplements

There are some good ingredients such as Boron and Fenugreek, but we don’t know why Cha de Bugre is in there as there’s no proof that it helps with male health.

You can’t tell how much of each ingredient is in this blend, so we don’t know if the amounts are either safe or effective.

Additionally, some men have reported that Tribulus Terrestris aggravates their prostate.

Side-Effects of Testovox

Despite the murkiness of the proprietary blend part, Testovox doesn’t seem to have any side effects.

None have been reported so you should be fairly safe if you take this supplement.

The component ingredients aren’t the greatest, but they don’t appear to do any harm either.

How to Take Testovox

You should take two capsules of Testovox twice a day before meals.

The manufacturer recommends that you take it for two months for it to have the optimum effect.

Price

You can obtain Testovox from their website. You can also get it from various online retailers .

A bottle of 60 capsules costs roughly $21.95 (£17.06) which means that two months’ supply costs about $98 (£76.17).

Is Testovox Good Value for Money?

We don’t think that Testovox seems to be good value for money as it simply doesn’t appear to be that effective.

It also seems to be more expensive than a lot of the more impressive testosterone boosters out there, such as the scientifically-proven Military Muscle.

Conclusion

Testovox doesn’t seem to be particularly impressive. Also, many customers have complained that it’s not effective enough in their online reviews.

It may work for you though; we can’t tell for sure. Effectiveness of supplements can obviously vary from person to person.

Testovox has some basic vitamins and minerals and then a kind of shady proprietary blend.  This may or may not be because the manufacturer has something to conceal by not showing the actual doses of the ingredients.

Vivid Health Nutrition have failed to include some important ingredients for testosterone boosting, such as vitamin D. They’ve also added some pointless ingredients like sodium.

At Supplement Devil, we feel that this is far from the best testosterone booster you’ll find.

If you want to try it, though, you can buy it from the Testovox website here.
