Koala Freak Pre Workout Review
Pre Workouts are great, but just like most supplements- they can also be kind of shitty. In our Koala Freak Pre Workout Review, we will be putting the supplement manufactured by a company called the Staunch Nation, through our hellish analysis.
Outside of being uniquely (hilariously) named, the supplement comes in 3 different flavors. It’s a bit more expensive than your regular Pre Workout supplement, which brings us to the question- ‘Is it Worth it?’
Staunch Nation has some pretty damn good backers when it comes to this supplement. Celebrity fitness models and bodybuilders alike will boast about how its energy power will burn you as hot as hell fire itself- well, not in those exact words, but you know what I mean.

How does Koala Freak Pre Workout work?
As mentioned, Staunch Nation has some pretty big names backing them up. You might be familiar with one of them, namely Calum Von Moger– who you might recognize as the man casted as the actor for Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie called “Bigger.”
The company claims that not only will the supplement provide energy that is “jitter”-free, but it will also improve your pumps, and stimulate your mind and help you improve your mental focus for your workouts. Those are pretty big promises, although they are promises that any Pre Workout should be able to provide.
Anyway, don’t know about you, but I like to see what I’m buying before I sell my soul to the devil. ‘Cause let’s be honest, that usually never goes well for anyone.
Koala Freak Pre Workout Ingredients
Pump Complex
The Koala Freak Pre Workout has three different blends, each promising different benefits. The first one just so happens to be the Pump Complex, which as its name would suggest, is the blend that improves the quality of your pumps. Helping you gain muscle faster.
This blend seems a bit trigger-happy (all the blends do tbh), the first ingredient (Citrulline Malate) is the only one that is really necessary. It is adequately dosed, which was a fair bit surprising (most other Pre Workout supplements can’t even get this right.)
However, Citrulline Malate at 6,000 milligrams is more than enough to help the flow of nutrients inside of your body, providing the blood and oxygen that it needs to restore and maintain muscle. The other three ingredients are about as useful as- well, they’re not, they were completely unnecessary, and cannot be scientifically proven to be effective.
Strength/Performance Complex
This mix is bad, and not the good kind of bad. The bad- bad. The first ingredient (Beta-Alanine), much like previously, is the only ingredient that is actually effective. However, as effective as it has proven to be, it has also been known to cause paresthesia- which makes your body all-tingly.
The second and third ingredient cannot be scientifically backed, and one of them (Betaine) has been said to fuck up your sweat and your breath- making it seem like you had taken a swim in a knock-off Styx River, one that made you smell like fish.
Energy Focus Complex
Now we’re going to get a bit twitchy, cause in comes the overwhelming load of stimulants and unnecessary nootropic ingredients that every Pre Workout supplement seems to have. The Caffeine and L-Theanine is a good idea at least, providing energy but also helping stave off the jitters and crashes. The rest? They shouldn’t have bothered.

Side Effects of Koala Freak Pre Workout
Most Pre Workout supplements come with its own set of hangups, and the Koala Freak Pre Workout is no different.
- Beta-Alanine causes a tingly sensation that is harmless, but uncomfortable for many.
- Both Betaine and Choline cause a fishy odor that permeates in both your breath and your sweat. Which ensures that any potential Devil-ess stay as far away from you as possible.
- Huperzine A can cause nausea, diarrhea, and high-blood pressure
Koala Freak Pre Workout Review Results and Expected Effects
It’s not a bad supplement, I’ll give it that at least. However, I don’t necessarily see myself jumping through hoops just to purchase it. It’s good, has some hangups, and it’s missing a couple things but what more can I say?
A lot of Pre Workout supplements are like that, and whilst this is definitely a supplement that might work for some people, it’s not one that will work for everyone.
