Core Nutritionals Core Fury X Review
On the back of Core Nutritionals Core Fury, is the latest iteration – Core Fury X. Our Core Fury X review will take a look at the latest pre workout supplement released from this potent range which includes Core Fury and Core Fury V2.
What made the original Core Fury pre workouts great was that they use a target and balanced amount of well researched and effective ingredients.
This is no Pre Jym – loaded up with everything under the sun to try and keep you cracked up, awake and performing. Instead, it uses monster doses of the ingredients that simply work.
Another great thing about the Core Nutritionals Core Fury line is that they have NO PROPRIETARY blends. So, you know the exact doses of what you are taking with absolutely no messing about.
We’ll look at this recently released pre workout supplement in our review of Core Fury X. Does it live up to its claims? or are there better alternatives out there? Read on and you’ll find out exactly that.

Core Nutritionals Core Fury X Review First Impressions
First impressions of Core Fury X are pretty good. For starters, the packaging looks clean, modern, and professional, which makes it look attractive to potential buyers. That said, that’s definitely not the be all and end all, what matters most is what’s inside the product itself.
When we were browsing their website, we found that it was easy to navigate and presented all of the information about the product. This included an in-depth look into the ingredients which we thought was a nice touch.
After all, the last thing you want to be doing is filling your body full of s**t right?! So, it’s good that they’ve gone the extra mile to be totally transparent about what’s actually in the product.
Combined with the fact there are no proprietary blends just like the other supplements in the Core Fury line, this particular pre workout has remained consistent in that regard – definitely a huge plus point!
Another aspect of this product we liked is the choice of flavors – Pineapple Strawberry, Star Candy, and Australian Gummy Snakes. All unique tastes, that’s for sure! We went with the Australian Gummy Snakes flavor ourselves – we were pretty intrigued by this peculiar flavor, and it definitely reminded us of our childhoods!
On the Core Nutritional website, they define Core Fury X as ‘A Comprehensive Energy and Pump Amplifier’, which is a pretty bold statement in itself. But, does it really live up to its definition? Read on and we’ll look into its effectiveness.
Core Nutritionals Core Fury X Effects
Core Nutritionals Core Fury X contains a blend of ingredients which are designed to increase your energy levels so that you’re able to hit the gym and power through your workout.
That’s not all though, certain ingredients contained within this particular pre workout supplement induce pumps too – ensuring you can make the most out of each rep you perform during your workout.
In the next section, we’ll take an in-depth look into each of the included ingredients – going over their effectiveness and dosages.
Core Nutritionals Core Fury X Ingredients
With the new Core Fury X we expected more of the same – a well dosed and heavy-handed pre workout powerhouse.
The big push with this is likely to be on clean energy and muscle pumps, with a high amount of creatine ensuring that after a few weeks of use, you’ll be smashing PRs left, right and centre.
Another thing that you can expect from Core Fury X pre workout, is the fact it won’t use any proprietary blends to get the job done. Here’s the full list of ingredients and exactly what they do.
L-Citrulline
L-Citrulline is an amino acid which is produced naturally by the body and is also found in certain foods such as watermelons.
It’s a useful ingredient to have within a pre workout as it not only gives you intense muscle pumps, it can also help to increase your endurance too!
Core Fury X contains 6000mg of this particular compound, which is an aspect of Fury X we really like. When it comes to L-Citrulline, this is an optimal dosage – it really takes your workout to the next level.
Creatine Monohydrate
Creatine Monohydrate is another useful ingredient to have within a pre workout supplement. This is because it can help your muscle cells to produce more energy, and increase your strength too. Ultimately, Creatine can aid your performance and help you to go harder and achieve better results.
You may think that it’s only found in supplements, but creatine is actually found within beef, pork, and salmon too! But, it’s definitely worth consuming as a supplement, as you’d have to eat a s**t load of meat to get great benefits.
Hydromax
Hydromax is a trademarked ingredient which is made up of around 65% glycerol when you take a look at the ingredients label.
It is claimed that this particular ingredient can help you to not only improve your performance, it can also help to keep you ‘hyperhydrated’, in addition to making you utilize fluids more efficiently.
Betaine Nitrate
Betaine Nitrate is a compound which can increase your power when taking part in your workouts. Ultimately, this can help you to lift heavier weights, perform more reps and in turn, build muscle faster.
L-Tyrosine
L-Tyrosine is an ingredient which can help to increase your alertness so you can maintain your focus throughout your workouts. However, this is an unproven ingredient when it comes to improving exercise performance.
Instead, it would have been more useful to include an ingredient such as L-Theanine which can improve your focus and boost your energy while avoiding a crash at the same time.
Choline
Choline is contained within a whole host of foods – liver, fish, peas, spinach, and much more. It is a compound which is used to treat various health issues. This includes depression, dementia, and chronic hepatitis, among other things.
However, it’s been included within Fury X as it is known to be used heavily by bodybuilders as it delays fatigue. When you’re going hard in the gym, fatigue is the last thing you want to contend with. For that reason, we can see why Core Nutritionals chose to include this particular ingredient.
Caffeine Anhydrous
When a serving of a pre workout supplement contains a sensible dosage of Caffeine, this can give you a boost of energy when it’s most needed the most.
Within Fury X, a half serving gives you a dosage of 175mg, which is within our optimal dosage of less than 200mg. This can give you a burst of energy, at the same time as helping you to avoid unwanted side effects such as jitters and energy crashes.
However, a full two-scoop serving means you’ll be getting 350mg of caffeine. This can actually have a negative impact on the body and lead to the aforementioned side effects.
So, we’d definitely recommend paying attention to your overall caffeine intake. If you’re drinking tea/coffee alongside taking this supplement, you might just be consuming a much higher amount of caffeine than what is needed.
Methylliberine
This particular ingredient is said to improve mind-muscle connection, which can help you make the most out of your workouts. As well as this, Methylliberine can also lead to enhanced energy, focus, and improved oxygen utilization.
However, while this compound is naturally occurring, there have been little studies conducted on it, meaning it’s an unproven ingredient at this moment in time.
Theacrine
Similar to caffeine in many ways, Theacrine is a compound which is naturally occurring. It is commonly used to help fight fatigue, the common cold, and even aging, but also used to improve athletic performance too.
However, it is a stimulant, so this can often have an adverse effect when consumed in conjunction with another stimulant such as the aforementioned caffeine. So, be sure that you’re cautious with this particular ingredient.

Core Fury X Price
Core Nutritional’s Core Fury Extreme costs $41.99 for 28 servings. This is on the way to a slightly premium price when it comes down to pre workouts.
So, prior to the release of Core Fury X, we were expecting it to be around this price point – if not more expensive. It turns out we were right all along, as Core Fury X is currently priced at $44.99, with a retail price of $68.98.
This is pretty expensive, but then again, a premium product most definitely comes at a premium cost. So this is hardly surprising.
Core Fury X Serving Size and Dose
One scoop of this supplement will be enough to get dominating a session. Double scooping Core Fury Extreme was intense but worked well to deliver good amounts of energy and pumps.
With Core Fury X, one scoop is only half a serving. The dosage of the included ingredients is decent with just half a serving. But, you could go all out and go for a double scoop if you’re hardcore!
It’s probably best to ease yourself into it with half a scoop to begin with. Then, if you feel you can handle a full serving, be our guest!
With one scoop, you’ll get 175mg of caffeine which is decent, as our recommendation is less than 200mg of caffeine per serving. However, when you go for a double scoop, this means you’ll be getting a whopping 350mg of caffeine with one serving.
While this can provide a boost of energy when you need it the most, you run the risk of side effects including jitters. So, definitely be cautious when it comes to this, as the last thing you want is energy crashes when you’re pumping iron – this pretty much defeats the object of taking a pre workout supplement in the first place!
Buy Core Fury X
Core Fury X is available directly from the Core Nutritionals website. While the cost is in the premium price range, at least you know you’ll be getting a genuine product.
If you spend $100 in one order, then you’ll receive free domestic shipping within the US too. So, if you were planning on buying more than one container of this product, or you want to buy any of their other products at the same time, this will save you money on delivery charges.
Core Nutritionals Core Fury X Results and Review Conclusion
We had a mixed experience when we used Core Nutritionals Core Fury X. It certainly has its plus points, but there’s also the bad points too. Let’s start with the things we liked first.
For starters, the fact Core Nutritionals are completely open with their ingredients list ensures you know exactly what’s in the product.
Manufacturers are able to hide the exact dosages of ingredients when they use proprietary blends. Essentially, this means you could potentially be doing more harm than good. Or, you might just simply be consuming s**t that isn’t good for you. Thankfully, Fury X stays true to one of Core Nutritionals’ company values – no usage of proprietary blends.
Another thing we liked is that there are some ingredients that have been proven to work contained within Fury X. This includes the likes of Caffeine Anhydrous – a must for any decent pre workout supplement. But, just be sure to be cautious. Consuming too much caffeine at once isn’t great.
Two scoops of Fury X is one full serving. So, this means that you’ll be consuming a massive 350mg of caffeine should you choose to go for a second scoop. Like we always say here at Supplement Devil, you should ideally stick to less than 200mg per serving to avoid any unwanted side effects.
As Fury X contains more than this in a full serving, we think that this lets the product down, as well as the fact some unproven ingredients such as Methylliberine are included.
Overall, you’re most definitely better looking elsewhere if you’re in search of the perfect pre workout supplement. To help you make your decision, you can take a look at our top 5 pre workout supplements right here.
