World Fitness Federation Pro Bikini World Champion is one of the biggest fitness models around. After taking home numerous titles and being featured in a whole host of fitness magazines and online blogs, including Shape and Glamour, Karina is a great athlete to follow. But how does she stay in such rocking shape? We break down Karina Ellie diet and workout programs.

Starting originally running Cross Country and and cheerleading at University, she decided to become a group fitness instructor whilst at University. It was from her that her career flourished. Karina is not only know for her approach to diet and fitness, but one big moment was appearing as a Nike runway model.

Karina Elle Workout


Whilst Karina Elle Lisenbee is an athlete who strongly believes everyone should have a diet in tune to really make a difference, she also understands how to workout and the importance of building up muscle to trim and tone up.

Whilst she does do some Yoga and other lower stress activities, Karina tends to also focus a lot on heavier weights and thinks it’s fairly essential to be in a gym to get the most benefits of exercise. She generally trains at the famous Golds Gym Venice beach.

Karina also recognises that lots of people are spending hours and hours doing slow and steady state cardio, when instead they should be utilizing the power of HIIT.

The key is to working out smart. She says;

Did you know just 4 minutes of sprints can give you more benefits than 45 minutes of steady and slow cardio (think: tedious treadmill time).

And did you know that weightlifting can increase your metabolism for up to 48 hours after working out?

If you’re not wanting to hit those weights and big compound movements, Karina Elle has a few workout challenges online. These are generally aimed at building that big round booty, but can be a great fat burning workout too. The will work well when you combine them with a diet like Karina Elle Lisenbee follows.  The Karina Elle Lisenbee workout is below:

  • Split Lunge with Dumbbells – 10 x each leg/ Repeat 3 times
  • Step-Ups -10 x each leg / Repeat 3 times
  • Sumo Squat Booty Pulse x 20 / Repeat 3 times
  • Dumbbell Deadlift x 10 /Repeat 3 times
  • Bulgarian Split Squat (need a chair or bench) 10 x each leg / Repeat 3 times
  • Sprints 100 meters x 10 times

You will require some dumbbells so you can take on this workout, and it will get tough! But in terms of leg workouts, Karina is certainly someone who knows whats best.

Karina Elle Diet


Karina is a big believer of balancing her diet with her workouts and that all food should be considered food for the body. She avoids unhealthy, junk and fatty foods as much as possible. Opting for whole, clean foods instead.

She does however believe that there is a problem with people feeling ‘guilty’ for eating certain foods and that sometimes you do need to give yourself a bit of cheat food. She though, will always minimize this, by learning what sort of foods can both feel like a treat but also provide some form of nutritional benefit.

One pitfall she may have is enjoying some fries or a burger, but even then she tries to factor this into her diet.

Karina doesn’t opt for a particular style of diet or count her calories. In an interview with Muscle and Fitness she said;

I don’t count calories. I believe in portion control, cooking for myself, and eating simple ingredients like potato, chicken, broccoli, avocado, and eggs.

Following this, it’d be fair to assume that Karina does split her meals up through the day. Rather than having 3 big meals, she will like have 4/5 smaller meals.

This ensures that her metabolism is kept high and her muscles fuelled properly for as long as possible. Keeping her lean yet fairly athletic and muscular. An example diet of someone of Karina Elle’s size would be:

Karina doesn’t really use many supplements, instead getting her food to provide her with all the nutrition she needs.
