It’s a well-known fact that women have a more difficult time building up shredded muscles than men, but Caroline Bergoe is here to show us that it is possible. Humans are not created equally, and whilst it’s arguable that a woman is able to do everything that a man can, there are some things that can’t be helped.

For example, the lower levels of testosterone in women can make it much harder for them to build up muscles. In order for a woman to bulk up, they must not only be strong in body but strong in heart as well, because this isn’t a job for the weak-hearted.

Perhaps that is why this young girl from Denmark, named Caroline Bergoe is gaining so much attention. She is easily recognizable from her toned physique, and is steadily showing her audience that it is an attainable goal. She started posting on social media not two years ago, and upon the writing of this article has almost 50 thousands followers on her Instagram.

In order to continue building the type of muscles that Caroline Bergoe has, or even just maintaining it, requires a lot of hard work. Caroline works on her cardio very early in the day, getting up at 5 am, bright and early, in order to lose fat. This is mainly for making sure that her shredded muscles are not hidden by anything.

Her workout routine, as far as toning and strength training, is a six-day affair. She has the seventh day as rest so that her muscles are able to recuperate and prepare to build more muscles for the following week.

She likes doing high-volume workouts, and rather than focusing on one muscle group per day, she works on several, keeping most of her body at work whilst giving the others rest.

  • Hanging Leg Raises – 3 sets of 10-12 reps
  • Cable Crunch – 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Decline Sit-Ups – 3 sets until failure

As mentioned, gaining ripped muscles like the ones Caroline Bergoe has is very difficult for women to do. It’s not even just will or perseverance that makes it difficult, there are nuances involved that requires a lot of research and control.

For example, high testosterone levels in bodybuilding is a must. The only way for a woman to boost their testosterone levels this drastically is through supplements, and not all of these are as effective as they promise. The ingredients have to be investigated, and some of the more effective solutions(like steroids) are not legal nor safe.

The only way Caroline Bergoe is able to keep the kind of muscles she has must be through some serious hard work as well as control. This is something that requires planning meals early, and counting calories and protein levels carefully.

Caroline is said to follow a very clean diet, rarely does she indulge, although when she does it’s mainly to allow her body to recharge on the carbs she needs in order to continue to build more muscle.

  • Certain types of berries, like blueberries, are well known for the benefits that they give when it comes to stimulating the body to build more muscle or burn fat.
