All things considered, Sculpt Nation Burn is a bit of a disappointing product. Aside from cayenne pepper and green tea, there’s nothing convincing about this fat burner. It’s missing a strong appetite suppressant that we so often see in the most effective fat burners. Plus, it comes at a high price and uses a couple of risky ingredients.

How does the Sculpt Nation Burn Fat Burner work?

Okay so, the formula. What does the Sculpt Nation Burn Fat Burner actually do? Does it stay within the realms of the usual fat burners…? Is it a little bit more out there? Well… our first look is meh. It feels very average and mediocre.

They make the same promises as most fat burners. You know, the usual:

• Burn fat
• Control your appetite
• Energy boost
• Higher metabolism

Etc, etc. They kept the formula slim with only a few ingredients, even after the 2019 update. That doesn’t have to be a bad thing though. It’s always better to just stick to what you’re good at — this is especially true in the case of fat burner supplements.

So, that’s good, but then what makes it meh? Well, it’s mostly the high cost of the supplement, which we will delve deeper into later in the review. But first, it’s time for us to cover the new ingredients which were included in the 2019 update.

Burn Evolved Addition – Apple Cider Vinegar

Reduces appetite, impacts insulin

Generally about 500mg of apple cider vinegar extract is the equivalent of two tablespoons. 

This is important because most studies and positive effects of apple cider vinegar come from the liquid form. With little to no evidence supporting its use in a powder. 

There isn’t really concrete evidence with the liquid form when it comes to weight loss either, with many still disputing if it actually works.

Not a great new addition to Sculpt Nation burn.

Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract

Heats the body and induces thermogenesis.

Cayenne pepper is a great inclusion in any fat burner. Why, you ask? Well, it’s proven by science to work and help with (1):

• Hunger – supresses your appetite and helps you control your food cravings better.
• Metabolism – cayenne pepper has compounds that when ingested, activate your metabolism to burn more calories. 

Each of these effects will help to speed up your fat burning potential considerably.

Most importantly, cayenne pepper is safe. After all, it’s simply a spice that you can buy at a grocery store. Coupled with the right ingredients though, it can have a real impact on your fat loss.

Grains of Paradise Seed

Potential stimulant effects.

Grains of Paradise is not our favorite ingredient in a fat burner. Why? Simply because there’s little to no evidence suggesting it helps with fat loss. (2)

Some people think that grains of paradise is a stimulant. And as such it’s thought to help with getting rid of visceral fat. But again, we’re yet to see a concrete study proving this notion.

A better ingredient here would be green coffee bean. It contains something called chlorogenic acid, which reduces the absorption of carbs in your gut. With so many us being carboholics, this could help with fat loss big time!

Caffeine

Enhances energy and focus.

Caffeine is an absolute must when it comes to fat burner ingredients. It will provide you with those bursts of energy and motivation when you need them the most. (3)

This is especially important when you’re in a caloric deficit. Dieting can often leave you feeling sluggish, which can destroy your motivation to see your goals through. Luckily, caffeine is a perfect ingredient for these scenarios, as it will help you to power through your day. 

EGCG (from Green Tea Leaf Extract)

Helps to boost metabolism.

Green tea is arguably one the most important ingredients to have in a fat burner. After all, it’s been shown to boost your fat burning potential with these little things called ‘catechins.’ (4)

These work to increase your metabolism while reducing your appetite at the same time. 

• So, if you often find yourself reaching for the snack cupboard when you know that you’re supposed to be on a diet, green tea extract will stop you from ruining your progress.

Green tea also raises your epinephrine and norepinephrine. These hormones turn up your metabolism even more, which can lead to further fat loss.

Yohimbine Hydrochloride

Stimulant.

There are many reasons to avoid this ingredient. For one, it’s shown to cause several harmful side effects which we’ll get to later. The fact that Yohimbine is banned in countries like Canada speaks for itself. You should most definitely take extra care with this ingredient. (5)

But let’s just put side effects aside for a moment. Even then, this ingredient is pointless in a fat burner. There’s no solid proof that it will give you anything positive really. So until further reasearch comes out, it’s best to steer clear of Yohimbine.

Rauwolscine

Stimulant.

Native to Africa, this particular compound is similar to Yohimbine in effects. Which is not a good sign.

Rauwolscine is a central nervous stimulant. It can give you a little more energy, but the side effects aren’t fully known. This makes it a questionable and potentially harmful ingredient. In all truth, there are much better choices out there. (6)

Anything Missing?

Sculpt Nation Burn fat burner doesn’t have a few of our favorite fat burning ingredients. The biggest omission is an appetite suppressant.

• For example, while Sculpt Nation Burn does have caffeine and cayenne pepper. These aren’t strong enough to considerably reduce your appetite on their own.

A stronger ingredient like Garcinia Cambogia would be our favorite choice. See, Garcinia is a fruit that will naturally raise your serotonin levels. This will make you feel better and have better control over your food cravings. Studies also confirm this notion, showing that Garcinia indeed helps with weight loss by reducing your hunger. (7)

Dosage (How to Take)

The best Sculpt Nation Burn dosage is 2 capsules daily with a meal.

It’s a quite simple way to take a fat burner, and you’ll love it if you’re a busy individual. However, this can also be a problem.

We’ve found that stimulant-based fat burners work better when you take them multiple times per day. For example 3 servings of 1 capsule – one capsule in the morning, another in the afternoon, and the last one in the evening. If you’re intolerant to stimulants, then you could experience side effects from taking Sculpt Nation Burn fat burner.

The biggest risk comes from these two ingredients:

• • Caffeine: the more of this supplement you consume, the higher the risk of side effects like jitters, insomnia, energy-crashes, etc. So, be sure to stick to the recommended dosage and keep an eye on your overall caffeine intake to avoid such unwanted side effects. Also, if you’re sensitive to caffeine in general, you might want to steer clear of it altogether! And look for a stim-free fat burner option.

As we’ve said, Sculpt Nation Burn is far from good value for money. When something costs $40 or more, you’ll want it to work, right? Well,  Burn hasn’t really convinced us in that regard. Not only does it work poorly, but is also quite dangerous due to Yohimbine.

The point is, we wouldn’t have a problem with Sculpt Nation Burn’s price if this product was effective and safe. But it’s neither of these things!

That ends our Sculpt Nation Burn Fat Burner Review! And yeah, admittedly, I was a little rough. Okay? We get that. However, there was no point in mincing words in this case.

We only spoke the truth, and the truth is…? Well, it ended up being a fairly below-average product. It will most certainly lighten your wallet but unlikely to do the same to your weigh-in. In other words, you don’t get much value for money. Especially considering the high cost of the product.

Of course, the formula has been updated from the original, with better ingredients included this time around. But, given that the dosages and safety of this fat burner are iffy, it’s safe to say that you should continue your search to get a better bang for your buck.
