Ripped Freak 2.0 Review
Ripped Freak 2.0 is the latest announced fat burner from PharmaFreak. We’re looking forward to reviewing this brand new fat burner from Pharmafreak. Ripped Freak 2.0 is a product that’ll ride off the back of the success of PharmaFreaks leading fat burner, Ripped Freak.
Ripped Freak 2 looks to be a fat burner that steps things up a level when compared to the original product. Offering more ingredients and bigger doses. But more doesn’t always mean better and Ripped Freak 2.0 could be
Fat burners should always contain ingredients that suppress appetite, target stored fat as a preferred source of energy for your body and also, of course, boost up your metabolic rate.
This ensure’s your burning a ton of calories through the day and also, taking less on board. Leaving your abs to slowly but surely appear over periods as short as a month.
Ripped Freak 2.0 First Impressions
All we can currently gleam about Ripped Freak 2.0 comes from the logo that has come along with it’s announcement.
We’re excited to get our hands on the product though and are presuming a high quality natural formula with a decent serving size.
PharmaFreak always make amazing looking products and Ripped Freak 2.0 should be no different.
The PharmaFreak website makes some big claims about Ripped Freak 2.0, which we will test in our review. They offer up all the places you can buy this supplement too, which is pretty handy. But they don’t offer the ability to buy direct or have any guarantees that Ripped Freak 2.0 will work.
How Does Ripped Freak 2.0 Work?
Ripped Freak 2 is the bigger and potentially better than Ripped Freak. PharmaFreak have worked to build a well developed and fairly hefty fat burning formula.
Looking at at whats in Ripped Freak and you can expect that you’ll get a big increase in metabolic rate, whilst also some level of appetite suppression. Making that cutting period all the more easy.
One issue that might arise is the number of stimulants in this product could cause some side effects/sensitivity.
However, Ripped Freak 2.0 looks to be aimed at the more hardcore fat cutters, so most people shouldn’t have too much of an issue.
If you’re training a high number of times a week, Ripped Freak 2.0 could offer some pre workout benefits, but without the added benefit of aminos. This is a fairly high energy and focused supplement from PharmaFreak.
Ripped Freak 2.0 Ingredients
Ripped Freaks ingredients most fit into it’s Sinetrol fat burning blend. Which uses a lot of variants of citrus peel for fat loss.
After closer inspection of the supplement facts you’ll see that the ingredients in Ripped Freak 2.0 are part of this main blend. With the rest supported by key B Vitamins and, caffeine and guarna.
As we said above, this is a fairly hardcore formula when it comes to the sheer amount of metabolism boosters, and it could prove to be a little flat or just hugely overbearing for some people.
In all honesty, we preferred the blend of the original Ripped Freak, over Ripped freak 2’s ingredients. Both though, aren’t without some faults when it comes to actually having the effects that’ll get you shredded.
Let’s take a closer look in the blend of Ripped Freak 2.0 and see which ingredients will do what.
Sinetrol Fat Shredded Technology Blend
The Sinetrol Blend in Ripped Freak 2.0 uses various citrus fruits to bring in high levels of citrus paradisi and citrus sinesis.
To most people that blend will read like more of a fruity summer cocktail then a blend of potential fat burners, and we don’t blame you. It made us thirsty.
But when you take the two main contents of the blend and break down their affects, you can sort of understand PharmaFreaks reasoning behind the decision.
Citrus paradisi is contained in nearly all citrus fruit and is thought to have an impact on body weight. But one major study concluded that “limited conclusions that can be drawn about the effects of grapefruit on body weight and metabolic parameters.”
Basically, whilst there may have been some effects, dosing and best practices with this ingredient are unknown. Which isn’t great given the amount of it present in the formula of Ripped Freak 2.0.
The second major part of the sinetrol blend in Ripped Freak 2.0 is citrus sinesis.
Citrus sinesis is basically citrus aurantium. This is associated with a big increase in metabolism and also some pretty negative side effects.
When mixed with other stimulants, like caffeine and the Guarana also in Ripped Freak 2.0, these potential side effects worsen too. A little frustrating for a PharmaFreak fat burner that’s been so long in the making.
Guarana
Gurana is a type of seed that is predominately used in fat burners due to the fact it’s got high amounts of caffeine in it.
You don’t particularly need Guarana if you have a reasonable dose of caffeine in a fat burner. It could make supplementation a little uncomfortable and mix with other stimulants present. It does have some merit to weight loss when used in a blend as the only stimulant though.
Caffeine
Caffeine is a highly researched, scientifically proven fat burning ingredient.
It was in Ripped Freak one, and so makes sense to use it in Ripped Freak 2 as it’s so dependable. The issue that PharmaFreak have made is the fact that they have used caffeine in conjunction with other ingredients too.
Grains of Paradise
Or Aframomum melegueta as it’s known. It’s part of the ginger family and is in Ripped Freak 2.0. It can in theory have some benefit when it comes to “fat mass control”, but you can easily get enough from conventional foods to make this worth it.
This is the least spectacular and effective ingredient that we’ve seen in Ripped Freak 2 fat burner.
B-Vitamins Blend
Ripped Freak 2.0 gives you a massive dose of all the key b-vitamins you need. B-vitamins are ‘energy vitamins’ and whilst they control a few elements in overall health, they do a lot to ensure a healthy and optimised metabolism.
Ripped Freak 2.0 Dose
Ripped Freak 2 is dosed at around 2 capsules per day. Depending on your tolerance.
This is a pretty high dose of some fairly aggressive stimulants, so it might be an idea to start with a single capsule to test your personal tolerance.
We had some pretty good workouts due to the energy, however 2 capsules per day was a little too much and eventually developed into some uncomfortable side effects.
Overall though, the serving size is pretty standard, it’s just the higher doses of some more risky ingredients that could prove a little problematic for some.
Ripped Freak 2.0 Side Effects
Ripped Freak 2.0 boats a fairly impressive amount of ingredients, and whilst a large proportion are fairly safe when it comes to their individual effects, their combined effects could cause some issues.
If you have a high tolerance for caffeine this product will be ok for you, but still may cause mild jitters and issues after long term supplementation.
For us the blend of stimulants also contributes to anxiety and could cause some stomach upsets.
Potential side effects of Ripped Freak 2.0:
- Jitters
- Energy crashes
- Nausea
- Headaches
Buy Ripped Freak 2.0
You’ll be able to find the best place to buy Ripped Freak 2.0 is from the PharmaFreak website.
For the US customers you’ll be able to buy Ripped Freak 2.0 from bodybuilding.com.
The price isn’t too heavy, but you only get 60 capsules and the main ingredients blend just isn’t as impressive as our current top fat burners.
PharmaFreak’s new fat burner does appeal far more to the hardcore, and will no doubt have a lot of fans from the off. But for the price you pay when buying Ripped Freak 2.0 as opposed to other top fat burners, the results and risk just aren’t worth it.
Ripped Freak 2.0 Results and Review Conclusion
Ripped Freak 2.0 is a fat burner that’s suitable for the more hardcore people who are cutting in a 2 week period.
With it’s ingredients longer term use will likely lead to unwanted side effects. PharmaFreaks new fat burner will focus more on providing energy for workouts and potentially a slight reduction in appetite, as opposed to cutting fat gradually and sustainably.
Results wise you’ll get some good fat loss from 2 capsules a day and 1 workout, however you also run the risk of headaches, nausea and other issues.
For us, the risk is too high and if you are looking for the perfect balance with a fat burner, check our top 5. These are products that burn fat in as little as 30 days, and don’t just rely on feeling a bit like a crack head.
Is there Anything Better than Pharma Freak Ripped Freak 2.0?
For us the first thing we want when reviewing a fat burner is something that doesn’t just blow your head off in the first day and leave you twitchy.
Our top fat burners use natural, scientifically backed ingredients to deliver fast and effective fat burning. Ripped Freak 2.0 is a hardcore supplement, that for us, has more use as a temporary fat burning pre workout.
Our current number #1 fat burner is currently it’s main rival, with a more complex and safe formula.
Ripped Freak 2.0 Review
We preferred the original Ripped Freak. Ripped Freak 2.0 feels more like a hard core fat cutting pre workout combo.
- Ripped Freak 2.0 Review
Ripped freak 2 was a bit of a waste for me i tried it while cutting fat for a show.
Im normally a 2 coffees a morning person but this made me ditch it altogether.
It was like caffiene from hell for me.
