OxyShred Review
Here’s our complete OxyShred review. A fat burning drink designed to help you get leaner and have more energy while dieting.
In this thorough inspection, we’ll be looking at its benefits, ingredients, pros and cons, and serving size to see if this highly popular fat burner lives up to the hype it’s been getting.
You might be surprised by the price of OxyShred – it costs $69.96 per container. This is right up there with the best fat burners on the market, but does it match their effects?
EHP Labs, the makers of OxyShred say it will help you:
- Stimulate your body’s fat receptor cells
- Boost metabolism
- Promote increased level of fat burning
- Curb appetite
- Increase natural energy levels
Another unusual thing about OxyShred is that it comes as a powder. Typically, the best fat burners use capsules because it’s easier to dose ingredients more precisely, and it also cuts the risk of side effects.
So, how well does OxyShred work at shredding unsightly fat? Is it safe? Let’s take a closer look.

How to Take OxyShred (Dosage Directions)
EHP Labs, the manufacturers of OxyShred, say you should take it twice per day for optimum results.
So, one scoop in the morning on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. And another scoop 15 minutes prior to exercise or when you need an additional boost.
You should also try not to consume a protein shake within 20 minutes after using OxyShred to ensure proper absorption.
OxyShred Ingredients
OxyShred’s ingredient formula has two problems: unproven ingredients and a proprietary blend.
We appreciate some of the ingredient choices in OxyShred, but many of them aren’t backed by science to work for fat loss.
On the other hand, proprietary blends prevent us from seeing how much of each ingredient is actually inside of them.
As a result, you can’t tell how well this product works, and if it’s side-effect free.
OxyShred “Hyper-Lypolysis Compound” Proprietary Blend (5.612g)
- Acetyl L-Carnitine – This is a common ingredient in fat burner supplements. However, current studies don’t look too promising. Carnitine is made by your body naturally, and supplementing it doesn’t seem to have an effect on weight loss. (1)
- Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) – CLA is a mixture of fatty acids that act on your body’s PPAR system, which influences weight loss. However, according to Examine.com, “CLA too weakly affects PPAR receptors to really induce fat loss in an appreciable amount.”
- Grapefruit Seed Extract – Grapefruit Seed Extract can inhibit certain enzymes in your liver from breaking down other compounds. This can be unsafe if you’re on certain medications because they will stay longer in your system. It’s not the best fat burner either!
- Guggul Extract Powder – Another ingredient with a lack of solid evidence. Derived from the Guggul tree, it is believed to increase thyroid hormones. But it doesn’t help you lose weight. (2)
- Mangifera Indica – This is a fancy name for common mango. It contains antioxidants which are good for general health. But this doesn’t have any direct fat-burning benefits.
- Raspberry Ketones – This is an ingredient with a lot of hype. It’s said to promote your body’s ability to burn ketones and fat for fuel. But oral doses of this ingredient haven’t been shown to have any effect at all. (3)
- Green Coffee Bean Extract – Now, this is a great one. It helps your body slow down carbohydrate absorption from food. While it doesn’t necessarily directly lead to weight loss, it can help prevent you from gaining more fat. (4)
- Chromium Picolinate – It regulates blood sugar levels so you feel less groggy after eating a meal. Not a bad choice at all!
OxyShred “Immunity Booster” Proprietary Blend (1.85g)
- L-Glutamine – This ingredient gets depleted when you’re sick, so supplementing it is a good idea. However, you need to take it in very high doses, higher than 5 grams per day. This entire blend in OxyShred has only 1.85g.
- Vitamin C – A general antioxidant and health ingredient, it’s definitely a good choice for boosting the immune system.
OxyShred Mood Enhancer Blend (1.92g)
- Tyrosine – This might not be a fat burner, but it’s a great nootropic. Meaning, it helps boost your mind’s ability to withstand stress and stay focused in a situation where you’d otherwise get distracted.
- Taurine – Helps boost GABA in the brain, which is a calming neurotransmitter.
- Caffeine Anhydrous – Besides being good for your alertness, focus, motivation and energy levels, believe it or not, but caffeine can also increase fat burning in your body.
- L-Theanine – This particular ingredient is only found in some mushrooms and in green tea. It helps calm and relax the mind, but it doesn’t cause drowsiness like your typical sedating ingredient. It’s more of a meditative relaxation kind-of-feeling.
B Complex Vitamins
Luckily, B vitamins are among the only ingredients which have their doses shown on the OxyShred label.
Which is good, we can tell we’re getting a decent amount of these foundational nutrients here. This can help with overall health and function.
B vitamins are good supporting ingredients in any supplement. B12 is beneficial for your energy levels, while B6 and B9 help with mental health. Combined, these three B vitamins also help keep homocysteine at bay. What is homocysteine, you ask? It’s an amino acid that can clog up your arteries over time if it’s left unchecked.
Anything Missing?
Even though OxyShred has quite a few ingredients on the label, there are a few important ones missing.
Cayenne pepper extract, green tea extract, and Garcinia Cambogia are among the best natural fat-burning ingredients. And they’re all omitted from OxyShred.
Vitamin D would be a great choice as well. It’s a natural steroid hormone that makes your body more efficient at burning fat, and offers a myriad of other health benefits. (5)

Side Effects
Due to how OxyShred is served, you might experience side effects using it.
Fat burning drinks and powders are more difficult to dose precisely than pills, making it easy to overdo it.
Another issue with OxyShred is the use of proprietary blends. This is concerning because we can’t asses the ingredient amounts, and can’t tell if they’re safe.
The ingredients themselves do appear safe for the most part. Some people did report experiencing nausea, headaches and diarrhea, but we haven’t seen reports of more serious side effects.
Price and Value for Money?
60 servings of OxyShred will cost you $69.95. However, if you take the recommended 2 servings per day, it will only last you a month.
It’s not too bad for people who don’t plan to use this product very often. But if you intend to take it 2 times per day, then it’s worth looking into some other options that offer better value for money.
Our Conclusion to OxyShred Review
So that brings us to the end of our EHP Labs OxyShred review.
OxyShred is a fat burner powder that looks great, has some solid ingredients, and comes in plenty of great flavors.
It’s a bit disappointing that it’s served as a drink which makes the dosing inefficient and unreliable.
Many of its ingredients are also contained in proprietary blends. Meaning we don’t know if they’re dosed correctly. It could potentially cause side effects so you should be careful not to take one scoop too many.
Overall we aren’t totally convinced by OxyShred when it comes to its claims. We think it’d be a better value for money if it was more transparent, and if it included some better fat burning ingredients, like Garcinia Cambogia or Green Tea extract.
