Happy Way Fat Burner Review
This is our Happy Way Fat Burner Review. As you could guess by the name, this fat-burning drink claims to make weight loss a happier and easier process.
To help you get that lean and awesome figure, Happy Way Fat Burner uses a blend of herbs and amino acids. Apparently, these ingredients promote:
- Energy levels
- Metabolism & fat loss
- Focus
The formula is natural, vegan, and without the unnecessary junk. However, we found in the past that fat burning drinks are ineffective. Not only that, they often come with heaps of side effects. This is because it’s harder to dose fat burning drinks correctly and evenly like capsules.
So, is this the case with Happy Way Fat Burner? We check the ingredients, side effects, dosage instructions, and more to find out.
Pros and Cons
Looking for a quick summary of our Happy Way Fat Burner review? Then this is the section for you.
All in all, it’s a quite strong fat burner. Since it’s consumed all in one serving as a drink, it can hit you pretty hard and lead to side effects. The benefits to side effects ratio is pretty bad if we’re being honest.
The ingredients do work though, there’s heaps of caffeine in there. You’ll definitely feel it as you do your reps in the gym. But you get the feeling that you could achieve the same with a strong espresso.
Pros
- Vegan
- Potent ingredients
- Helps with energy metabolism
Cons
- Aggressive formula with stimulants, this can be too strong for some
- Not the best value for money
- Served as a drink, makes dosing less reliable compared to capsules
About the Company
Happy Way is an Australian-based company that produces supplements mainly for women. Their range includes everything from protein powders to BCAA drinks.
The company was started back in 2015, and its vision is to equip its users with “the lifestyle products they need to transform their health and their lives”.
Can Happy Way Fat Burner live up to these standards? Let’s find out.
Benefits
Claimed benefits of Happy Way Fat Burner:
- Boost metabolism
- Increase muscle strength & performance in the gym
- Great before a workout and for fat loss
Naturally, we’re a bit skeptical whenever we get our hands on a new fat burner. Simply because they all claim these fantastic benefits, but in the end, there’s little to be happy about when you look closer at the label.
Let’s find out if that’s the case here.
Ingredients
Happy Way Fat Burner is a powder that you mix with water. Meaning the ingredients are delivered to you in a drink. The formula itself includes a few amino acids that help with energy and muscle repair, along with some herbs that boost up your metabolism.
However, the stimulants in this fat burner might prove to be too much for some. You may feel an increase in alertness at first due to high amounts of caffeine, followed by an energy crash afterwards.
L-Glutamine
Glutamine can help you if you’re deficient in it. In which case, it will support your training and recovery. However, we can get glutamine from our diet, plus our body makes it on its own. You’ll only benefit from glutamine if you train very hard because glutamine is used up quickly for tissue & muscle repair. (1)
BCAAs (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine)
There are 9 amino acids that your body absolutely needs from your diet. Out of those 9, there are 3 which are specifically good at boosting muscle growth and repair. They’re called BCAAs. Not the best ingredient for fat loss though! (2)
Tyrosine
Tyrosine is a kind of ingredient that’s more often seen in nootropics (brain-boosters) than fat burners. That’s because Tyrosine will boost up your mental willpower and motivation to go to the gym. Not directly linked to fat loss, but can help you for sure, by giving you that drive and energy to crush your workouts. That said, you quickly build up a tolerance when you use it every day. At that point, it stops being effective. (3)
L-Carnitine
An ingredient that helps you tap into your fat stores and use them for energy. Carnitine also supposedly boosts your focus and cognition. It can be effective in higher doses (700mg+), but Happy Way Fat Burner only has 100mg per serving. (4)
Garcinia Cambogia
Garcinia won’t really help you lose fat. What it will do, however, is raise your serotonin brain levels, putting you in a better mood and reducing food cravings along the way. (5)
African Mango Extract
The seeds of this fruit contain healthy fats that are thought to help suppress appetite. But we aren’t totally convinced by this ingredient. The top fat burners steer clear from it due to a lack of quality evidence. (6)
Green Coffee Extract
A great ingredient that can promote thermogenesis, ramping up your metabolism. Plus, green coffee extract is a source of CLA which plays a big role in helping utilize fat for energy. (7)
Green Tea Extract
You can’t go wrong with green tea. It’s an ingredient that’s proven to work time and time again. Not only raising your metabolism but also reducing appetite. It’s a shame we don’t know exactly how much of it is in Happy Way Fat Burner though – you need a high enough dose for green tea to work. (8)
Raspberry Ketones
There’s been a lot of hype around this ingredient in recent years. However, studies continue to show that raspberry ketones are not only ineffective, but also bring negative side effects. These include increased blood pressure and anxiety. Want to lose fat safely and successfully? Avoid this ingredient. (9)
Guarana
Guarana is a plant with a variety of uses. Its seeds are highly caffeinated which doesn’t sit well with most people. Especially when you combine it with other stimulants like those in Happy Way Fat Burner. It might help you burn fat, but you’ll get all twitchy from it. If you want the same effects as Guarana, simply drink a strong cup of coffee, it’s cheaper and it works. (10)
Anything Missing?
Nothing really. We like that the formula uses green tea and Garcinia Cambogia, which are our favorite combinations of ingredients in a fat burner.
The question isn’t “is anything missing?” It’s more of “what’s not needed?”.
Too many stimulants, harsh ingredients, and chugging it all in one go means this fat burner kicks in hard. As opposed to capsules which can be dosed evenly and in smaller doses over the course of the day – leading to safer and better effects.
Dosage Instructions
So, how do you use Happy Way Fat Burner? You simply take 10g of the powder, put it in 200ml of water, and shake it for around 20 seconds. This is one single serving, and you get 50 of those per package.
Just make sure not to put too much powder in the water. It’s easy to overdo it with Happy Way Fat Burner’s aggressive ingredients.
Most effective fat burners will typically come in capsules. And if they use stimulants, then they’ll have two or three servings throughout the day. This safely and effectively delivers you the ingredients in a way that a fat-burning drink cannot.
However, one thing you could do is halve the dosage of Happy Way Fat Burner. Then take another half later in the day. This can help to sustain the benefits while reducing side effects.
Side Effects
Speaking of side effects, Happy Way Fat Burner uses quite a sum of stimulants as you know.
These tend to provide a short burst of energy only to leave the user feeling down afterwards. Especially as you’re getting it all in one serving.
If you’re inexperienced, these are some of the stimulant side effects to watch out for:
- Nausea
- Anxiety
- Mood swings
- Energy crashes
- Insomnia (an easy one to avoid, just don’t take the product too late in the day)
Again, we’d suggest halving your dose of Happy Way Fat Burner to 5 grams. This is just to test the waters and see how you react to it. Then you may take the second dose a bit later. Having two smaller servings during the day is not just safer but also delivers more sustained effects.
User Results & Experiences
Since Happy Way Fat Burner isn’t officially sold on any 3rd party sites, you won’t find many user reviews and results online.
We did find a few written reviews, but they bashed the product and didn’t seem trustworthy enough to include them in this Happy Way Fat Burner review.
That said, some users took their reviews to social media; posting videos where they explained how Happy Way Fat Burner worked for them. It isn’t clear whether these video reviews are legit or are simply sponsored to get you to buy the product.
Price
Happy Way Fat Burner is available to buy on the official website, with a price of around $70 AUS, $48 USD, £37 per package.
Is Happy Way Fat Burner Good Value For Money?
It probably isn’t. The price is pretty high considering you’re paying for a half-fat burner, half post-workout supplement.
There’s no doubt that this product works, but at the price of potential side effects. Such as energy crashes and irritability.
Conclusion on Happy Way Fat Burner Review
This brings us to the end of this Happy Way Fat Burner review. The product looks great, the name sounds nice, and it uses ingredients that do work.
The problem is, a combination of stimulants is never a good idea if you want to achieve fat loss safely and effectively. Thus, Happy Way Fat Burner is more likely to give you a jittery fat burning experience than a happy one.
Plus, drink supplements tend to be less effective than their capsule counterparts when it comes to burning fat. That’s why we wouldn’t recommend it unless you know what you’re getting into!
