Irwin Naturals CBD Oil Review

Your body naturally makes cannabinoids that help improve mood, memory, sleep, appetite, stress response and immune function, while decreasing pain and inflammation. Taking CBD supplements will enhance these effects.

However, as the CBD oil industry is unregulated, it can be hard to find a product that is safe and effective. Many CBD oils are diluted and of poor quality. So this begs the question, can Irwin Naturals CBD oil hold up to scrutiny?

In this Irwin Naturals CBD oil review, we’ll look at this product’s ingredient profile up close to find out the answer. We’ll break down its key advantages, check for side effects, and determine if it’s good value for money.

In the end, we’ll also show you how this product compares to our current top-rated CBD oil from Drishti Supplements.

Short Review Summary

Pros

  • A wide range of options – soft gels, tinctures, CBD balms
  • Derived from hemp
  • Doesn’t have a lot of THC, meaning it’s legal and doesn’t make you high

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Not the best product in this category – Drishti CBD oil remains our top pick when it comes to affordability and trustworthiness

About Irwin Naturals CBD Oil

Irwin Naturals is a supplement company based in Los Angeles, USA. They offer a wide range of supplements, including CBD products that are claimed to support your health & wellness.

  • The Irwin Natural CBD range includes soft gels, CBD oils, and balms. They extract CBD from hemp and source it exclusively in the USA. They also show everything on the label. This is great… we always like when the producers stay away from shady proprietary blends.

Their soft gel CBD oils come in different strengths, including 10mg, 15mg, 30mg, and 50mg per softgel. The same is with their CBD tinctures which come in 250mg and 1000mg variations.

One thing that we didn’t like, though, is their prices. Compared to our number one CBD oil, Irwin Naturals’ products are more expensive, and from our experience, offer less bang for the buck.

Benefits

CBD, which is one of the cannabinoids in hemp and cannabis plants, is gaining more and more popularity over the world due to its health benefits.

The benefits of a good quality CBD oil include:

  • Better sleep
  • Improved muscle recovery
  • Reduce inflammation & soreness
  • Great for yogis – expands the mind and protects the body
  • Relieves anxiety

However, if it’s diluted, a CBD oil will be ineffective. Some CBD products even have potentially high levels of THC in them. That’s why it’s important to check the ingredient profile in detail, which is what we’re going to do now.

Ingredients

As we’ve said, Irwin Naturals’ CBD oil comes in tinctures and soft gels. Both contain full-spectrum hemp extract with CBD.

Let’s cover both in more detail…

Soft Gels

The soft gel CBD content varies anywhere from 10mg per softgel to 50mg per softgel.

In addition to the hemp extract, their softgels contain some flaxseed oil, MCT oil, and Bioperine (black pepper extract). These are more of filler ingredients. You’ll more often see Bioperine in products like fat burners, where it can actually help with the effectiveness of the product.

Tinctures

As for Irwin Naturals CBD oil tinctures, their 1 oz. (1000ml) bottle will provide you with around 20 servings. Considering that one of these tinctures costs $42, this is a pretty big investment if you’re going to use it daily. Compare this to more effective products like Drishti CBD oil which has 30 servings and costs less.

One thing that we did like is that Irwin Naturals’ CBD oils come in flavored options if buying tinctures. To mask the taste of natural hemp if you don’t like it. However, you can also opt for an unflavored option.

Does Irwin Naturals CBD Oil Work?

Here we come to the most important part of this review – the purity and potency of Irwin Natural CBD oil.

Is it up to par? The answer is yes.

Their products are made from full spectrum hemp extract. The marketing material on their website says they do 3rd party testing to ensure THC levels that are less than 0.3%. All in all, while there are some downsides that we can’t look past (such as the price), it’s definitely not a terrible product!

How to Take (Dosage)

The dosage directions depend on what type of Irwin Naturals CBD oil you use.

For softgels, 2 per day is the recommended dose. If you want a stronger effect you can take more. However, it’s smart to be careful with the dose in the unlikely case that the THC content is higher than claimed.

For their CBD oil tinctures, the recommended dosage is two (2) one half (1/2) droppers per serving. Even with this kind of dosing, Irwin Naturals CBD oil will only last you 20 days. Worse still, if you take the recommended 3 servings per day, it won’t even last you a week!

Side Effects

Irwin Naturals claims to use high quality CBD oil derived from hemp. It’s also said to be full spectrum. Since it’s guaranteed to have very little THC, there shouldn’t be any side effects to worry about.

However, we do suggest talking to your doctor if you have any concerns about this product.

Price and Value For Money

We briefly touched upon the Irwin Naturals CBD oil price. Which comes out at $69.99 for 60 softgels (the 50mg CBD version), or $42.99 for their 1000ml tincture.

This places Irwin Naturals CBD products at the premium end of the price range. In other words, it might be a little too pricey for some.

Is This the Best CBD Oil on the Market?

We don’t currently rate Irwins Naturals CBD oil as our very best supplement in this category.

Despite the good reputation of the company, and a wide range of products that they offer, the price is a bit too high for our liking, and their CBD oil tinctures only have 20 servings.

Overall, it receives a mix of positive and negative reviews.

  • As of right now, Drishti Ananda CBD oil remains our number one CBD product for mood, pain, inflammation, recovery, and mental clarity. When we first stumbled upon the company behind Drishti’s products, a few things stood out to us almost immediately. Their products are cGMP certified, yogi tested, natural, and clean. They ship fast and have excellent customer service.

The company behind Drishti Ananda CBD oil plants trees, and donates $1 to Blue Dragon’s Children Foundation for each order. Additionally, Drishti Ananda CBD oil can only be brought directly from its official website, which cuts down the cost significantly and ensures you get the latest batch of the product. This makes for a great business model overall.

Irwin Naturals CBD Oil Review Conclusion

This brings us to the end of our Irwin Naturals CBD Oil review. So, what are our final thoughts?

Overall we feel that this is a decent supplement. The company boasts a good reputation and offers a wide range of products to pick from.

However, we don’t quite rate it as our best CBD supplement because it offers very little for the money invested. Only 20 servings for $43+ dollars.

Put simply, there are other better options available on the market right now.
